Alexander Bogdanovic

Born in March 11, 1977 in Cetinje. Graduated at high school in California, USA. He graduated at the Faculty of Management in Belgrade. PhD student at the University of Bologna, Italy. He is fluent in English and Spanish, and can communicate in German too.
Business engagement:
- From January 2000 until October 2002, he worked in the Ministry of Economy of Montenegro;
- From October 2002 until April 2003, he was hired as coordinator of activities in the Local Business Center Cetinje;
- From April 2003 until December 2005 - spokesman of the Ministry of Economics and Adviser to the Minister;
- Member of the Permanent High Level Group (PHLG) and a representative of Montenegro in the Athens process since 2002 until 2005;
- From December 2005, he is at position of Adviser to the President of Montenegro in the field of economic relations;
- From April 2009, he has been a legate in the Parliament of Montenegro;
- From February 2007, he teaches at the Faculty of State and European Studies in Podgorica;
- From March 2010, he is Chairman of the Committee of DPS Cetinje;
- Appointed to position of Cetinje city mayor in November 23, 2010.
Membership:
- Member of the Senate of Old Royal Capital;
- Member of the Board of DPS Montenegro;
- Member of the Supervisory Board of the DPS of Montenegro;
- Member of the Security and Defense - Parliament of Montenegro;
- Member of the Committee on International Relations and European Integration - Parliament of Montenegro.
Area of scientific and professional work:
International economic relations, European Union, multilateral economic and political relations, the Stabilization and Association Process (SAP).
He attended several specialized courses and seminars home and abroad, including a two-month practice at the Institute for European Policy in Berlin on the topic “The process of stabilization and joining the European Union.” At the invitation of U.S. Secretary of State (United States Department Of State), he participated in the spokesman training program in Washington in 2004.

Several guest lectures at the University of Belgrade, Diplomatic Academy in Sofia and Sofia University.
